”We initially lived in the Brisbane suburb of Acacia Ridge but moved to Sunnybank in Brisbane when I was in grade 4”
“My parents educated me until year 10, then sent me off to work. They had little idea of higher education and felt I should become a secretary (clerk). I wanted to take on further academic studies – I was a bit of a nerd – but my parents advised me to do commercial studies and find a job.”
Jennifer started backpacking through Europe.
“This was around the time that Australians went to travel to Europe – it was a sort of right-of-passage – The Grand Tour. You put on a backpack and off you went for six months or so.”
Jennifer met her later Dutch husband and started commuting between London and Amsterdam
Jennifer married in Breukelen the Netherlands. However they broke up after 17 years.
“I didn’t want to get a Dutch passport when I got married. I didn’t want to give up my Australian one.”
Jennifer was managing director at Polygram Television Benelux till June 1999. read more
“Life in the Netherlands became especially difficult when I had the babies and no close friends or family to lean on. My jobs saved me.”
From July 1997 till December 2012 Jennifer was MT member for VP European Digital Service (Amsterdam) and VP IPTV (Dublin).

Till june 2015 Jennifer was lecturer at Nyenrode New Business School.
Jennifer worked till December 2020 at Twenty Century Fox as Director L&D. Since 2022 she is business owner.
